Has anyone tried lamisil for nail fungus?

I took the treatment for nail fungus for my feet. I was prescribed lamisil for a period of 3 months. Took the medication 2 weeks out of each month skipping every other week. Most of my toe nails cleared up except for 1. Now i have been informed i may have some issues with my liver. Would like to know if anyone else has had success or failure with this medication. What were the results and what can i do to treat my toe nail. Prescription was expensive but it was covered by my insurance with a doctor's referral.
