How long does Lamisil treatment take?

I had a 6 month supply of Lamisil. I have about 5 pills left and I'm wondering if I'm good or need it longer? I had toenail fungus on my big toe. The nail appears to be normal, but I want to make sure because I don't want to start all over again...
