go to a 99 cents store and buy an antifungal creme. Clothrimazole is my favorite. But curing it is only one part of solving the problem. Make sure bath tube is clean. use bleach to wash the bath tub. change the shoes after the toes are healed and wear new shoes. need to air out the toes and keep them dry at all times. moist the best place for fungus to grow.

I recently had a boil under my last but one toe and it was painful. It lasted for 1½ months. It broke on its own. it also affected my nail and it had grown fast ever since pushing the older nail.

I didn't go to the doctor and didn't apply anything. it is an infection but it died down with the passage of time.

There is a new laser treatment available. You can find info on it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jUs6JeOIAw
