Why are my nails so strong?
Alright, I will be 100% percent honest. My fingernails and toenails are as hard as stone! I cannot file them... the file breaks if its not metal, and it does not shorten the nail. and when I tried to use toenail clippers they dented! I had to buy professional ones from a beauty supply store, the were expensive! My nails are clean and have no fungus or anything. . . and I don't know why they are so hard, its like having slabs of stone on your nails. they are not super thick,just strong. all I need is answer to why my nails are this way. it happened all of a sudden, I never changed my diet, or ate anything in particular.

If you see white marks on your nails that you cannot remove, you have a calicum defiency but i would suggest you are having too much calcium in your diet as they are rock hard. Try to cut down on milk, cheese ect

It is good to have hard nails. Nails protect your fingers from any damage. So, it is to your benifit for having hard nails.
